Those of you who know me, know that I love books, get obsessed with books, overwhelmed with books, spend every last penny getting the latest from my favorite author…this is what led me to library school (who knew you couldn’t read books at work when you worked at a library? I was robbed, people!). Anyway, Scott Westerfeld is one of my fave authors, and I sometimes fantasize about hanging out with Scott and some of the people he hangs out with, since every last one of them is one of my favorite authors. Holly Black, Cassandra Clare, Justine Larbalastier (his wife) are but a few. I knew I was a geek when I read a book by Cassandra Clare and recognized a reference to one of Holly Black’s stories.
Anyway, here is the trailer for Westerfeld’s latest book — I am looking forward to reading it, right after I read Suzanne Collins’ second book, called Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, the first book in the series, is one of the best books I’ve read). I love all of Scott’s books, and I’m looking forward to a new series!
