Marti just put this on his Facebook:
On Saturday he went to an end-of-semester “Chemistry is awesome!” party with a bunch of Chem majors (he took Chemistry this semester). They made ice cream… with liquid nitrogen. They wore a helmet with a battery-powered flashing light. They dipped tequila in liquid nitrogen, and made frozen cupcakes with the stuff. This year, at the neighbor’s request, they forewent the nitrogen mini-bomb they made last year.
Marti’s happy comment at the end of it all?
“These are my people!”
