Here are seven of the original 10 girls that made up Group 5 at the Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute. This was a great group of girls to work with and many of them still (amazingly) keep in touch. Satoko brought pictures when she came to visit and I want to say a big congratulations to so many women! Here are the new events in each person’s life (from left):
Rie: Works as a tour guide/translator (English-Japanese). Way to go Rie!
Mika: Married with two children. Otsukaresama!
Yasuko: Married, and just had her first baby, a boy. Omedetou!
Yoko and Husband: Just got married, of course, hence the photo. Also omedetou!
Satoko: Number 1 fabulous former student who just came to visit me. Whoo hoo!!
Sumiyo: Will get married next year, also omedetou!
Hitomi: Just had her first baby, a little girl. Congratulations, Hitomi!

Yumi-chan: Ganbatte! Thanks for the sweet baby gift (I love the bib — it’s so cool, it covers her entire body).
Bun-chan: I want to eat you.
Nami-chan: Wherever you are, crazy girl, I hope you’re well.
