Trish, who never reads my site, is pretty much my complete opposite. She has tannable skin, intense blue eyes and dark hair. She likes to flirt and wear painful shoes. She married young, had her kids young and never wanted a career — so of course she has a great career as a construction estimator, making way more money than me. She dyes her hair different colors and routinely gets her nails done, and she works in the construction industry. She has guts. But she was never the daredevil type to do rock climbing (like me) or travel exotic places, so I was pleasantly surprised when she and her husband took a cruise and actually went out of the country. Today this picture came up in my mailbox. Trish, I’m so proud. Next time I’ll take you backpacking with me…whoo hoo! That’s my sis!

Yeah, I guess I’m not the daredevil type anymore, since clean laundry gets me more excited than rappelling these days.
But yes, hiking sounds fun, and I agree that my sister is bee-yoooou-tiful.

I do too check out your web site…. and….. I’m not working in estimating anymore. Now I’m the Human Resource / Safety Manager - Less Stress.
Oh and one more thing - You are the smartest person I know and someday soon you’ll be making ton’s more money than I could ever dream of making.

Just for the record, “backpacking” is not the same as “hiking.” “Backpacking” is a euphemism for staying in really, really cheap hotels, drinking a lot of alcohol, and wearing clothes from a backpack. Backpacking can and does include rented cars, surfing, and beach sand in your underwear. Just an FYI.
