My new laptop comes tomorrow. My old one, may it rest in peace, died two weeks before Finals Week, thus completely screwing me for all my final projects (luckily I had my files). The new one is an Acer. Acer also manufactures Gateway and Toshiba. More posturing and drooling to come.
