A friend sent me this entertaining video, which, lucky for me, had already been uploaded to YouTube. This is set in Kosovo rather than Iraq, but I got a big kick out of it and I can totally imagine the Okinawa crowd doing something like this…thinking of Erik, Matt, Matt and Jason with water bottles (and Matt and Erik with their wooden spoon)!

I didn’t want to add this to the post because it’s a bit more serious, but I was going through my links and I found this great article from Life of a Female Marine, with a transcript from John D. Eisenhower about presidential children serving in times of war. I had never thought about the risks, but it was an interesting argument and deals with both vice presidential candidates and their children headed to combat.

That’s defiantly a good video, though very old! I was talking about our rather cheesy rap videos…. Anyway, yes I’m looking forward to the visit as well even though it will be very short.
