Gonzaga Alum

Dan was in the freshman dorm the year I got stuck there as a sophomore; I remember him being a pretty funny guy, with a kind of deadpan humor (he roomed with a guy from the rowing team — they were a pretty funny pair), and apparently he’s a professional funny guy now. I took a look at the Comedy Central video posted on his website, Dan Cummins TV, and I was impressed. My favorite lines? His confession that he’s a greeting card writer, with this sample:

As each day passes you grow older, weaker.
I’ve been working out;
Revenge is near.

Happy Father’s Day.

Anyway, here’s the video, and congrats and best wishes to Dan!

Marti broke it

Which is why I haven’t been able to post to my site lately. This is what happens when you drive 407 miles on a scooter without telling your wife. You pull off the road and lose your wallet, along with the credit card that pays for your wife’s weblog, and then the payment comes due, you move the site to a different host and lock her out of it.

Naughty, naughty!

He really did drive 407 miles to his friends’ house on the scooter without telling me (I was gone to Idaho), but he did tell me about the wallet and the host change (thanks Trevor!). I was crap about posting anyway; hard to post when you’re actually busy seeing friends and such. Nonetheless, we are getting things back online and I’ll be posting about my trip very soon.
