Sorry I haven’t posted on here in ages. I have a new job at the Tucson-Pima Public Library as a Library Associate, where I basically do everything a librarian does but I get paid slightly less. I have also been accepted to the University of Arizona SIRLS Program as a master’s student in Information Resources and Library Science. So, I am just a tiny bit busy, as I am working six days a week so I can go to class. In December I should be able to breathe freely again, as the semester will be over. Until then…
Here’s a great article about Bikers Against Child Abuse, or BACA, which was pretty cool.
I would write exciting and interesting things about it, but I now have a third blog, an “educational blog,” that I have to keep up for school and it saps my time. I would link my other blog to this page, but the instructor specifically said he didn’t want the student blogs indexed by the search engines, but don’t worry — it’s no loss. The blog is boring as toast and mainly talks about tech stuff like Java programming and how TCP/IP works. Oh, and our car is still being fixed (on the second engine, as apparently that “cheap engine” the insurance company sprang for didn’t actually work) which puts us at four weeks without the car, so I guess it was a good choice to buy the Volvo. Still hoping someone wants to buy this Ford…:)
Well, the car did not get totalled, they have decided, oh the insurance company, in their ultimate wisdom, to fix the car. The damages came to about 60% of the original value. We plan to sell it and keep our Volvo, so…anyone want a Ford Focus? Cheap?
